Director Krešimir Dolenčić and his collaborators explore the depths of this enigmatic work, which is intertwined between honest bourgeois theater, the idea of a new world order, and the play of philosophical mysteries, without neglecting the humorous aspect of this iconic piece. The dark reign of the Queen of the Night contrasts with the spiritual temple of Sarastro, from which a new generation of messengers of progress emerges – Tamino and Pamina.
