Lana Druškovič
Lana Druškovič began attending the Nena Vrhovec Stevens Ballet School at the age of eight. In 2014, she reached the finals of the Dance World Cup competition in Portugal, followed by a finals placement in 2015 in Bucharest, Romania, in 2016 in Jersey, Channel Islands, and in 2017 in Offenburg, Germany, where she achieved 4th place. That same year, she placed second at the ASDU European Championships in Austria, and in 2018, she won first place at the same competition. In 2018, she enrolled in the Secondary Ballet School at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. At the Baltek competition for young Slovenian ballet dancers in 2022, she received a special award for the best performance of the contemporary choreography Gardenfound. Since 2021, she has performed in productions by the Slovenian Ballet Artists Association, including Carmen, Romeo and Juliet, The Lady of the Camellias, Don Quixote, La Fille Mal Gardée, and Paquita. At the beginning of the 2023/24 theater season, she joined the ballet ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, where she has since danced in performances of Faust, Giselle, and Zorba the Greek.
