Mihael Mikluš


Mihael Mikluš embarked on his musical journey during high school, starting with the choir MPZ Glaska in Zgornja Polskava. He continued to hone his musical talents with the Ptuj Octet and the English Student Theatre at the 2nd Gymnasium Maribor. In musical productions, he took on notable roles such as Kenickie in Grease, Mufasa in The Lion King, and Commander Khashoggi in We Will Rock You.

Simultaneously, Mihael furthered his vocal education under the guidance of Professor Jolanda Korat at the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet. In 2003, following a successful audition, he joined the Opera Choir of the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor. Since then, he has assumed various minor roles in operas, including Fiorello in The Barber of Seville, the main Black Mask in The Black Masks, the second brother in Puss in Boots, the Notary in Puccini’s opera Gianni Schicchi, Harry in the musical My Fair Lady, Mr. Hartley in the musical Titanic, the Village People in L’Elisir d’amore, Bello in The Girl of the West, and the Stage Manager Izidor in Mountain Flower.

Mihael Mikluš’s extensive repertoire reflects his versatility and dedication to the art, which he passionately shares with his audience. In recent times, he has been imparting his knowledge and passion for music as a choir conductor, particularly in his work with younger performers.
