Davide Buffone


Davide Buffone, a talented dancer with a passion for the arts, began his dance education at a very young age at the Centro Studi Musical of Franco Miseria in Rome. He continued his training at the Teatro Politeama in Prato, the Taneční konzervatoř Ivo Váni – Psoty in Prague, the School of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma …

In 2015, Buffone began working for Sonia Nifosi’s Dance Company in Rome and joined Bird’s Dance Project in Milan that same year. From 2016 to 2019, he danced for the Belgrade National Ballet in Serbia, performing in various productions such as Bayadere (Golden Idol), Nutcracker (Fritz), Queen Margot (Francois Duc d’Alencon), Swan Lake, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote, Eugenie Onegin, Dorian Grey, Hazarski Rečnik (Dream Hunter). In 2019, Buffone joined the National Ballet in Skopje, North Macedonia, as a soloist, where he performed in Swan Lake (Rotbart), Raymonda (Abdurahman), Carmen (Don Jose), Scherezade, Anna Karenina (Stiva), and Cleopatra.

Since the fall of 2019, Buffone has been dancing for the Ballet of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, where he has performed in numerous productions such as Nutcracker, choreographed by David Nixon, in the title role, Giselle as Hilarion, Swan Lake as Rothbart, Don Quixote as the Gypsy King, Cinderella in Jean Christophe Maillot’s choreography, Left Right Left Right by Alexander Ekman, Cantata by Mauro Bigonzetti, Handman, Peer Gynt, Le Sacre du Printemps, Les Noces, Povodni mož, Tango, Radio and Juliet, Carmina Burana, all choreographed by Edward Clug, Death in Venice, Madame Bovary and Romeo and Juliet by Valentina Turcu. Buffone’s impressive background and experience make him a versatile dancer with a bright future in the world of dance.
